Lead Waste Water Plant Operator
Starting salary:  $20.62/hr.

 Associate degree from an accredited vocational/technical school with studies in Wastewater Technology or related field, & 4 years related exp., or any equivalent combination of training and experience. State of Florida Wastewater Operator License "B" and valid Florida driver's license is required.

Water Plant Operator
Starting Salary:  $18.22/hr.

High School diploma or GED & 1 year related exp., or any equivalent combination of training and experience. Must possess State of Florida Water Treatment Plant Operator Class C certification.  A valid Florida driver’s license, required.  Ability to obtain CDL license within 6 mos of employment.

Chief Operator (Water)
Hiring salary: $54,909 – $68,637 (DOQ)

AA degree from an accredited vocational/technical school with studies in a related field & 5 years experience in water plant operations including 2 years lead or supervisory experience, or any equivalent combination of training and experience. State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection Water Treatment Certification, Class A.  A valid Florida driver’s license, required.  Ability to obtain CDL license with 6 mos of employment.

• License incentive: $150/mo. – State of Florida Class A Water/WW Plant Operator. $75/mo. – State of Florida Class B Water/WW Plant Operator
