CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH - Waste Water Treatment Plant Superintendent
Summary: Supervises, coordinates the operations for facilities structures under charge to ensure compliance with regulatory permitting standards; reviews plans for plant operations meeting with consultants and contractors; ensures free effective operations of plant facilities; conducts frequent and periodic inspection of plant to detect malfunctions initiating corrective action; monitors and controls accounting and expenditures to ensure compliance with established and projected budget; gives monthly presentations to the ECR Board.
Qualifications: Associate degree from an accredited college vocationa/technical school or college with studies in Waste Water Technology or related field and 5 years experience in waste water plant operations or any equivalent combination of training and experience. Two years (2) lead or supervisory experience, required. State of Florida Department Environmental Protection Waste Water Treatment License Class "A" is required. A valid Florida driver's license is required or the ability to obtain a State of Florida Class E wihtin 30 days from date of employment.
Salary: $57,689/Annually
